Wild plants carry so much nutrition and health benefits, sadly was been forgotten how to use and cook them. We want to change this by offering courses and building a webplatform which will inform and share information from around the world.
Gardening is proven, to be very beneficial to treat depression and PTSD thats the reason that we invite veterans and victims special to participate in our project. We want to combine our farms with additional therapeutic care if needed.
Gardening is nearly everywhere possible, you do not need a garden, amazing what we can do, with little space in this days.
Do you have a garden but no time to use it? Share the garden with others and get fresh produced organic food in exchange!
Look at our videos. Thank you
Welcome to Growing Goodness!
We are developing this project because, we believe that it is possible for organic foods to be available to everyone, not just those with the money to buy.Plants enrich our lives in many ways. They feed our bodies with nourishing food giving us the gift of life. They also clean our air and enrich our environments - the quality of our lives depend on them! Gardening has many benefits for the individual but in our vision people will also work together for the benefit of all. This will strengthen communities by bringing people together, united in a spirit of understanding and compassion.
We will offer horticultural therapy to PTSD victims, veterans and their families. Our projects include whole communities and is very beneficial for depraved areas. We support with seeds and plants as long they are edible.
How can we make our vision a reality?
Well, the one part of our plan is to buy farms in UK and US to produce seeds, so that we can give FREE SEEDS to anyone who wants to grow them. Some may be able to grow them in their own gardens, some may ask friends if they can work in part of their gardens, others may know of a plot of land that nobody uses. We will train Community Garden Keepers, to support these growers and spread knowledge on gardening, with the agreement that people keep 90% of their harvest, and give 10% to food banks or people in need for fresh foods. We encourage communities to come together to support each other in the spirit of sharing the very enjoyable habit of gardening and eating good food.We will also train the Community Garden Keepers to work with Governments and Councils, private land owners and farmers, as well as working alongside any worldwide organizations who are seeking to improve the health and well-being of all people. We want to offer to PTSD victims, veterans and their families horticultural therapy and other therapy forms as CBT, NLP, LFT, art and music therapy..
We may begin with small farms in Wales UK and Florida US, but we believe we have a vision that will benefit the world, so our training will be open to anyone beyond the United Kingdom who wants their community to benefit from good nourishment. Let’s get our hands dirty!
